Introduction and Its Compliance
Patent is a type of legal protection or monopoly, established by the government, that is granted to the inventor or patentee for a new, useful and nonobvious invention. This right prohibits others from making, using, selling or importing the patented product or process without the permission of the patent holder for 20 years from the date of the filing. At Professionals Law, we help people, startups, universities and businesses get and manage patents. Professionals Law does everything according to Indian & international Laws governing intellectual property.
Why It Is Needed
Patent protection is critical to safeguard the original concepts and to provide inventors with a competitive advantage in business. This forms a legal monopoly for the inventor on it, so that the invention may be developed, commercialized or licensed to others.
